Jeffrey Baxter is the newest attorney to our Highpoint Law Team. Like the firm’s founding attorney, Peter J. Gilbert, the law is Jeff’s second career. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jeff served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the Naval Air Development Center (NADC) in Warminster. He also served in the Naval Reserves at NAS Willow Grove.
Although he will be involved in the firm’s numerous practice areas, as Associate Attorney, Jeff will primarily be giving his attention to the firm’s Elder Law, Special Needs planning, and Estate Administration services. Jeff will also be leading our popular monthly workshop, “Avoiding Nursing Home Poverty”.
Jeff holds a BA from Allentown College (1998) and a JD from Temple University School of Law (2002). Jeff is affiliated with the following organizations: Wealth Counsel, Elder Counsel, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Elder Care Matters Alliance, and Hellertown American Legion Post 397.
Jeff and his wife Diane have five children. He is a history buff and his hobbies include reading, motorcycle riding, camping, sightseeing and collecting antiques.
